Legal Changelog

Argyle strives to improve and update its offerings frequently, and we update our legal policies in connection with those evolving practices. We also periodically revise and reorganize the language in our legal policies to make them easier for our customers to use and understand. We endeavor to be transparent about these changes, and so we publish this customer-facing Legal Changelog to facilitate customer understanding of when, and for what reasons, material updates are made.

2025-12-11. We updated our Open Payroll Customer Termsand DPAto cover Argyle’s new Doc VOI offering. We made further updates to the Open Payroll Customer Terms and Open Banking Customer Terms to clarify the effect of purchases through Reseller, including revisions to the definition of “Service Order” and the relationship between Service Orders and orders placed for the Open Payroll Platform and Open Banking Platform via Resellers. Finally, we added provisions to the Open Payroll Customer Terms clarifying the nature of the Open Payroll Platform and Open Banking Platform and related services when ordered by state or federal instrumentalities. 2025-06-06. We updated our legal terms to reflect Argyle’s resale of Mastercard’s Open Banking Arm, Finicity, under newly published Open Banking Customer Terms, and updated our Open Payroll Customer Terms (formerly the “Customer Terms”) applicable to the sale of Argyle’s Open Payroll Platform, as well as the Support Policy, DPA and Service Levels, to reflect new features and functionalities and the relationship between the Open Banking and Open Payroll Platforms.

We updated our Subprocessors list to reflect the removal of Segment, and addition of HotJar and Thena.ai. Please see the Subprocessors page for more information.

2023-11-02. We updated our Subprocessors page to reflect the addition of Thena. Please see the Subprocessors page for more information.

2023-09-07. We updated our our Customer Terms to reflect a non-substantive clarification to the Modifications section, and making typographical or stylistic corrections.

2023-08-09. We updated our our Customer Terms and Data Protection Addendum  to, among other things, address DPA requirements in regulations issued under the California Privacy Rights Act.

2023-05-25. We updated our Subprocessors page to reflect the addition of Ocrolus. Please see the Subprocessors page for more information.

2023-05-10. We published a Messaging Policy with terms and policies applicable to customer use of email and text messaging functionalities, and made related changes to the Customer Terms and DPA.

2023-04-28. We have deprecated our Master Services Agreement, which is replaced by our Customer Terms. The most recent version of our Master Services Agreement will remain live on our website until further notice, but will no longer be actively linked to on our Legal Page. If you wish to receive a copy of our Master Services Agreement existing as of a certain date, please email us at legal@argyle.com.

2023-04-19. We published a Subprocessors page and made related changes to Data Protection Addendum, and made a number of typographical corrections.

2023-03-03. We published: (i) new Customer Terms to reflect changes in our business, (ii) Service Levels, (iii) a Support Policy, (iv) a Data Protection Addendum, each in connection with the new Customer Terms, and (v) this Legal Changelog for customers.
